Going to an Arkansas Razorback football game or other event at Little Rock's War Memorial Stadium? As our guest, you won't even have to look for (or pay for) a parking place - the stadium is right across the street! Wooo Pig Sooiee!
Golf? The 18-hole War Memorial Park Golf Course is a short putt across the street.
Tennis? The outdoor public Walker Tennis Center is also across the street, just a backhand away.
The Jim Dailey Fitness and Aquatics Center, formerly the War Memorial Fitness Center, is up the hill from War Memorial Stadium.
The Little Rock Zoo, another whole-family favorite, can also be reached in one minute by car.
Park Avenue has many shops, including Staples, Target, and Radio Shack. There's also Chedder's Restaurant and Panera Bread.
Park Plaza Mall, one of Little Rock's largest shopping malls, is up the road at the intersection of Markham Street and University Avenue, about two minutes away. Dillard's and dozens of other stores and restaurants are yours for the shopping.
Midtowne Little Rock is also up the street for additional shopping and restaurants.
Historic Hillcrest is a trendy residential neighborhood known for its cool shops, great restaurants, jazz club, and other must-see spots. Hillcrest is also a great place for scenic neighborhood walking and jogging, and it's just a two minute drive--or a bit longer if you want a nice walk. Hillcrest also offers a full-size Kroger grocery store, dry cleaners, post office, quick stop, and other necessities.
