You can make a reservation calling the hotel toll-free 877-467-6560 or 501-666-0161. We accept the following major credit cards: Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.
How do I cancel a reservation?
Any cancellations should be made the same way the reservation was made. You may cancel your reservation by calling the hotel toll-free 877-467-6560 or 501-666-0161.
What is your reservation cancellation policy?
We will gladly cancel your reservation without penalty or charge if you notify us by 4:00 p.m. local time the day of arrival. If you do not cancel your reservation within the cancellation window or fail to arrive at the hotel, your credit card will be charged one night's room and tax.
May I modify/change my reservation?
Yes, you can modify/change a reservation, regardless of how it was made, by calling the hotel toll-free 877-467-6560 or 501-666-0161.
How do I find out about direct billing for my company?

kitchenWhat are your front desk hours?
Markham House Suites has front desk hours from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m., seven days a week. Should you need assistance after hours, a night attendant on the hotel property is available to help you 24 hours a day.

Generally, check-in begins at 3:00 p.m., and check-out is at 12:00 p.m. Please arrange for an early or late check-in.
What amenities can I expect in a suite?
All suites are equipped with microwave, full-size refrigerator, hairdryer, coffee maker with complimentary coffee, desk and ergonomic chair, cable TV with premim movie channels, high-speed Internet access, and two phone lines with voice mail. In addition, the kitchens have cook top ranges, utensils, pots and pans, plates and glasses for four people, and comfortable recliners. Also available upon request is a handicapped-accessible room with roll-in shower.
What amenities can I expect in a standard guest room?
All standard guest rooms are equipped with a microwave, mini refrigerator, hairdryer, coffee maker with complimentary coffee, desk and ergonomic chair, cable TV with premium movie channels, high-speed Internet access, and two phone lines with voice mail. Also available upon request are four handicapped-accessible rooms with roll-in shower.
How many people can a unit accommodate?
Depending upon room type, most rooms are designed to accommodate a maximum of four people, or in the two-bedroom suites, a maximum of six people.
Is smoking permitted in the hotel or rooms/suites?
Smoking rooms are not available. All of the hotel rooms, suites, and common areas are designated non-smoking.
What TV channels do you offer?
We provide each bedroom and living room area with a 25" TV with premium movie channels. The cable channels include CNN, CNN Headline News, TNT, TBS, ESPN, ESPN2, WGN, The Weather Channel, CNBC, The Golf Channel, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Discovery Channel, History channel, USA, Network, and many others...plus locally broadcast affiliates including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and PBS.
What is meant by laundry facilities?
The laundry room is equipped with coin operated washers and dryers. The on-site laundry facilities are available 24 hours a day.
Do you have a swimming pool or spa?
No, we do not. However, War Memorial pool (outdoor and indoor) and Fitness Center are only a short drive away.
Do you offer shuttle service to and from the airport?
We do not provide our own shuttle service to and from the airport. However, we can arrange for this service at a discounted rate for our guests.
Do you have a shuttle service?
Yes. Our shuttle goes anywhere within a five mile radius between 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., seven days a week on demand.

Rates

business centerWhat is your payment/deposit policy?
Our payment and deposit terms are as follows: nightly guests who secure their payment with a credit card will be charged upon check-out. A deposit is required if you pay in cash. Your deposit is fully refundable at check-out, less adjustments for loss, damage, unpaid charges, and a cleaning fee, if applicable.

Weekly guests will be charged one week's room and tax upon arrival. If you choose to stay longer, your guest agreement renews and payment of at least one week's room and tax is due by 11:00 a.m. on the weekly anniversary of your check-in day. Guests checking out early during the first weekly term will be charged the lesser of the (1) weekly rate of (2) the daily rate time the number of nights.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes. Because of our close proximity to several medical facilities, we provide UAMS staff, medical guests, patients, and their families a discounted rate.

Pets

What is your pet policy?
In order to ensure that our hotel stay as clean and quiet as possible for all of our guests, we do not allow pets except assisted-living canines. If you are traveling with a pet, the hotel may be able to assist you with finding a nearby kennel.

Due to the fact that some clients have medical conditions that make them especially vulnerable to cat and dog fur, we have determined that it is in the best interest of our clients to exclude domestic animals.
